I did some calculations. I shooted that slomotion footage 1000 fps, so time between two frames is 1ms. And in that one frame where the ball breaks sparks have already flown out of picture. I estimated that that distance is at least 20cm. So therefore the speed of those fragments is at least 200 m/s :D. Some pretty fast sparks if you ask me :D
