· I'm repairing the direct clutch in my Rambaudi V2 mill, and the literature recommends Esso Beacon 325 grease for the spindle bearings, low range gears, and quill feed gearbox. On disassembly, the bearings and gears are in very good shape, and the grease was still buttery smooth and relatively clean after 50 or so years, so the factory grease seems to have performed very well.

Grease Fittings
